Anastasia Samoylova to receive the first KBr Photo Award of the Fundación MAPFRE

Congratulations to Anastasia Samoylova for being awarded the first KBr Photo Award by KBr Fundación MAPFRE! 
The jury, consisting of Carles Guerra, Thomas Weski, Sarah Meister, Urs Stahel and Carlos Gollonet, has unanimously chosen Anastasia, recognizing the quality and originality of her project Image Cities, a study of the integration of photography and image in the urban environment shot in multiple locations, that now will be completed in other European cities thanks to this award. It‘s endowed with 25,000 Euros and a solo exhibition at the KBr Fundación MAPFRE Photography Center in Barcelona in 2023.
Samoylova, who lives and works in Miami, graduated in Fine Arts from Bradley University and in Environmental Design from the Russian State University for the Humanities. Her works have been shown at museums in Austria, Germany and Russia, and are part of major collections and institutions in the United States and Germany, among other countries.
